SFÉRA, a.s., succeeded in the tender for the supply of information systems for the Czech company OTE, a.s.
The tender announced by OTE, a.s., which is the organizer of the short-term electricity and gas market on the Czech market, was a great challenge for several renowned domestic and foreign information technology providers.
SFÉRA, a.s., responded to the request regarding the supply, operation and support of information systems for the registration of guarantees of energy - electricity, biomethane, heat, hydrogen (REGO) and information systems for the registration of the use of renewable resources in transport and submitted a bid that in a highly competitive environment succeeded and became victorious.
The result was the signing of an agreement between the two companies, on May 18, 2022 at the headquarters of OTE, a.s., which was attended by the customer Ing. Michal Puchel, Chairman of the Board and Ing. Michal Ivánek, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and on behalf of the supplier RNDr. Eduard Haluška, CSc., CEO and Chairman of the Board of SFÉRA, a.s. Both parties introduced each other to the project teams and then immediately began preparatory work on the project.
OTE, a.s., as the organizer of the short-term electricity and gas market, is a key institution that ensures the functioning of the energy market. It ensures a balance between demand and supply and is also an information centre for the electricity and gas market. Our solution will provide this important Czech company with the supply, operation and 6-year support of information systems according to the requirements of the assignment.
SFÉRA, a.s., is a supplier of its own information systems for the electricity market organizer in Slovakia for the company OKTE, a.s., and since July 1, 2019 in Ukraine for the company Oператор ринку, which operates these systems continuously even in this difficult period. This continues to confirm our position among suppliers of information technology for strategic energy companies in the domestic and foreign markets.
