Enhancing Maintenance Operations with XR Technology

Digital technologies are fundamentally changing the way work is performed in the area of industrial maintenance, contributing to higher efficiency, safety and long-term sustainability of processes.

Our IT solutions have long responded to the needs and expectations of companies in the field of equipment management and maintenance, and therefore, at the 24th annual National Maintenance Forum 2025 conference, we presented our IT solutions to the participants of this traditional event, which, thanks to modern technologies, fundamentally advance the approach to technical maintenance.

Colleagues from the development and service departments presented the capabilities of the XMatik®/EAM system, which, when expanded with XMatik®/SPACE, using XR technologies (augmented, virtual and mixed reality), allows for an innovative way to ensure reliable, safe and efficient operation of technological equipment throughout its entire life cycle.

We showed that XR is not only about visual effects, but especially about practical benefits: shortening reaction times, reducing error rates, easing technical documentation, or more effective training of new employees.

We are pleased that the presented solution has generated a positive response and a lively discussion about how maintenance can move from a reactive mode to predictive and strategic management using modern tools. We thank the organizers for the traditionally high professional level of the event and all participants for their inspiring feedback.
