The Release of a Scientific Monograph

On Monday, December 9, 2024, the B-club of FEI STU BA held a ceremonial christening of the scientific monograph MODERN ENERGY SYSTEMS AND ICH CONNECTION and its launch on the book market. This event was also a memorial for the late Prof. Ing. Františka Janíček, PhD., author of the idea behind the publication's birth.

The event was attended by distinguished guests from the academic and industrial sectors, as well as students, family, and friends of Prof. Janiceka. The opening speech belonged to Prof. Ing. To Martin Weis, DrSc., Vice Dean for Science, Research and Human Resources of FEI STU. Subsequently, the authors of the book, Ing. Milan Perný, PhD., Doc. Mgr. Miroslava Smitková, PhD. and our colleague Ing. Peter Chochol, PhD. addressed the participants. The book was launched with needles and rose petals, symbols that Professor Janíček loved and reminded them of his relationship with gardening.

The reviewers of the publication were Ing. Robert Maier, Ing. Patrik Rzavský, and Bc. Anton Weissensteiner (SFÉRA, a.s., Karadžičova 2, Bratislava) and prof. Ing. Vladimír Šály, PhD. (Institute of Electric Power and Applied Electrical Engineering FEI STU, Ilkovičova 3, Bratislava)
