ENERGOFÓRUM® 2021 conference to be livestreamed
The main speaker of the ENERGOFÓRUM® 2021 conference will be the renowned economist Ivan Mikloš. In the panel, he will talk about challenges, opportunities and risks of economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. The former Minister of Finance will also focus on the future of the energy sector in relation to the growing emphasis on the green economy, decarbonization and the geopolitical consequences of these trends.

Capacity of the ENERGOFÓRUM® 2021 conference for onsite participation is full. Due to increased demand, possibility to participate online was proposed to interested parties. By purchasing online ticket, you will get access to live broadcasting of two days of the conference, record of all panels and discussions in full HD quality. Records and materials for download will be available for 14 days after the event.
From legislative innovations to current events in the energy markets.
Aggregation of flexibility, battery systems, energy communities and, of course, hydrogen cannot be missing. During the opening block topic on start of innovations in the Slovak energy sector will be discussed.
Representatives of state-owned companies will discuss investment support together with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy Karol Galek: Peter Dovhun, Chairman of the Board of the Slovenská elektrizačná prenosová sústava, a.s., Chairman of the Board of the MH Management Ľuboš Lopatka and Radoslav Haluška, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Východoslovenská distribučná, a.s.
Culmination of the first day will be a discussion block focused on regulatory and legislative innovations. The program of the second day includes speech of Andrej Juris, Chairman of the Office for the Regulation of Network Industries. Renowned expert Blahoslav Němeček from Ernst&Young will moderate the following panel.
The second day will be devoted to the current challenges facing the gas and thermal energy industries on the road to decarbonization. In conclusion will be the topic of the future of electricity and gas trading. In addition to analysis of the current situation on energy exchanges, participants will also learn how the launch of the nuclear power plant in Mochovce will affect the domestic and European markets. Branislav Strýček, CEO of the Slovenské elektrárne, will talk about the progress in the completion of the third and fourth units.
